Cost

Delivery
*Ensuring that the requirements of the shop floor are understood by making sure that all resources - supplier parts, blanks, etc. are delivered in line with job requirements whilst minimizing on site stock
Management
*Ensure all relevant planning details and reports are available as required.
*To assist colleagues and management team in ad hoc projects as necessary
*Provide solutions and countermeasures where appropriate then produce plan of action to implement improvements.
Quality
*The quality standards to be achieved are understood by you. 
*Achievement of right first time quality across the company.
*Introduce quality control systems to support UYT processes.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of material planning in a first tier automotive environment, ideally in a low mix/high volume environment and will have customer service experience. You will be a self- starter with extensive knowledge of modern lean manufacturing techniques and their application in a supply chain environment.

You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of dealing with ERP system and be computer literate. It is essential that you have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload.

&amp;bull;&amp;nbsp;Main software is Allen Bradley (ControlLogix). If you can write Siemens S7 as well it would be a bonus. There is Scada as well (Wonderware, WinCC) although PLC programming is more important.

&amp;bull;&amp;nbsp;Going on site and doing detailed fault finding, debugging and commissioning. Will liaise with client and complete documentation.
