Management Accountant

Job Description

Sewell Wallis is working exclusively with a fast growing, market leading business based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team. \n\nThis Management Accountant role reports to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate costs or Gross Margin for up multiple sites. In addition, the successful candidate will provide up to date financial data, including forecasting and budget, that is needed for the smooth running of the operation and to ensure regulatory and audit compliance requirements are met.\n\nThe role will be based at one of two sites in West Yorkshire and will involve business partnering with key senior stakeholders across the business in a highly visible role.

\n\nWhat will you be doing?\n\nManage the financial PO reporting, accruals, and reconciliations for the purchasing / sales process.\nPrepare and process month end journals.\nBalance sheet reconciliations.\nMonth end variance analysis and other month end reports.\nForeign currency transactions.\nAll month end duties up to and including the first draft of the variance analysis and cashflow for costs or Gross Margin for up to 3 sites\nMonth end review with Financial Controller, Senior Accountant, Operations Manager and FP&A manager for the area of the P&L you are responsible for\nProviding support to the team as required, including cover for other roles as needed.\nBusiness partnering the managers and departments on site to support adherence to full financial controls.What skills will you need?\n\nQualified in CIMA/ACCA.\nStrong IT knowledge, especially in Advanced Excel and accounting systems.\nStrong technical management reporting skills, along with unwavering attention to detail and an ability to build relationships through effective communication.\nExperience of Business partneringWhat's on offer?\n\n10% Bonus\nHybrid working\n25 days holiday + bank holidays \nPrivate Medical & Dental Insurance\nEnhanced pension\nFlexible working hours\n4X annual salary life assurance\nRetail discounts Please apply below, or for more information, contact Lawrie Bacon. \n\nTo apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
