Manufacturing Engineer (Contract Outside IR35)

We are currently partnering with a leading organisation in the automotive sector who are looking to engage an experienced Manufacturing Engineer on an outside IR35 contract basis.

This is an initial 3–6 month contract, offering a highly competitive day rate outside IR35.

This is a key role within the business, looking at in line measurement of small plastic parts. We need someone to specify, manage the supplier, and deliver an automated measurement system for small plastic parts.

Key Requirements:

• Strong background within automotive manufacturing environments
• Proven experience in process mapping, documentation, and standardisation
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence frameworks
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
